Robert Jacobson Sports provides basketball programs for all age groups and all levels of play. We have basketball for beginners who are instructed by Professional Coaches as well as highly competitive teams who participate in the Tri-County Basketball League and Westchester Jewish Basketball League. Robert Jacobson Basketball stresses the importance of team play, sportsmanship and playing time for all participants.
Robert Jacobson Sports has many different divisions of basketball. Please read the description of the program and select the division that is best suited for your child. We know that your player will have the best experience playing in our programs and leagues. All players will receive excellent instruction, a team jersey and a player participation award.
Boys in each division will be taught the game of basketball by Professional Coaches who have extensive knowledge of the game. Coaches will instruct all boys on key aspects of the game including how to dribble, pass, shoot and run with the basketball. Boys will learn the names of each position and how to position themselves on the court. Boys will be broken into teams for instruction and team play. Games will be scored but records will not be kept. All players will receive a team shirt and a participation award. Sunday afternoons - December - March

Westchester Jewish Basketball League
Teams will play against Westchester County Teams. Games will take place on Sunday and weeknights. Practices will be held once per week. The schedule is made by the WJBL. Teams in this league are competitive travel teams, with playoff and championship games. Last year our 9-10th grade team coached by Mitch Eisenberg, won their division championship. We have teams available for all age groups.

Tri-County Basketball League
Tri-County Basketball Teams play against other Westchester Towns in an extremely competitive travel basketball league. Games will take place on weekends and some weeknights. Practices will be held one or more days per week. Tryouts are required for these teams.
Thiswill be our second year of having teams play in the very competitiveTri-County Basketball League. Last year we had two 5th grade (An Irvington team and an Ardsley team) and one 6th grade team participate in the league.
