Robert Jacobson Sports provides basketball programs for all age groups and all levels of play. We have basketball for beginners who are instructed by Professional Coaches as well as highly competitive teams who participate in the Tri-County Basketball League and Westchester Jewish Basketball League. Robert Jacobson Basketball stresses the importance of team play, sportsmanship and playing time for all participants.
Robert Jacobson Sports has many different divisions of basketball. Please read the description of the program and select the division that is best suited for your child. We know that your player will have the best experience playing in our programs and leagues. All players will receive excellent instruction, a team jersey and a player participation award.
Girls Instructional Basketball: K - 4th Grade
Girls in each division will be taught the game of basketball by Professional Coaches who have extensive knowledge of the game. Coaches will instruct all girls on key aspects of the game including how to dribble, pass, shoot and run with the basketball. Girls will learn the names of each position and how to position themselves on the court. Girls will be broken into teams for instruction and team play. Games will be scored but records will not be kept. All players will receive a team shirt and a participation award. Sunday afternoons: December - March
Our girls in-house basketball league is in its 5th year of existence. Girls are split into equal teams and play against each other. All girls attend our three pre-season clinics that are conducted by Professional Coaches. Girls will play there games only on Sunday afternoons and practices will be held each Thursday evening. All levels of players are welcome to participate and each player is guaranteed playing time of at least half of the game. All participants receive excellent instruction, a team jersey, Professional Coaches Clinics and a participation award. Clinics will be held in November and the season runs from December - March. No games will be played during school holidays. Cost per player: $190

Last year our 6th grade girls team coached by Regis Boff, placed 2nd in the TCBL League and were crowned Champions in the highly competitive County Center Tournament. This year Robert Jacobson Sports will sponsor two different teams in the Tri-County Basketball League:
