Robert Jacobson Sports gets your child into the game. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to experience the game by making sure all players get their fair share of playing time. Robert Jacobson Sports believes that playing to win is fine but all players must have the opportunity to participate in every practice and game. We teach every child how to improve their game regardless of their playing level. We teach our players and coaches the values of tolerance, sportsmanship and teamwork while competing on the court and on the field. All children, from all communities are welcome to play in our sports programs. We get your child into the game!
Who is Robert Jacobson?
Robert Jacobson was a young man who loved life, loved his family, loved his friends, loved his community and loved playing sports. Robert tragically lost his life in a fatal car accident when he was coming home from college during spring break. It is with his spirit of involvement and making new friends both on and off the court and fields that we created and developed our sports programs.
When was Robert Jacobson Sports founded?
Robert Jacobson Sports was founded in 2002 with just 45 players in our basketball program. Since 2002 we have expanded our program to include football, lacrosse, boxing, volleyball, cheerleading, baseball, softball and arm wrestling. We currently have over 600 children participating in our sports and education programs.
Which sports do we offer to Children?
Currently we offer Ardsley Youth Football - flag and tackle teams, cheerleading, basketball for all ages, Girls Volleyball, Girls Softball Clinics at Frozen Ropes Elmsford, Boys Baseball Clinics at Frozen Ropes Elmsford, and Youth Lacrosse. We are part of the Westchester Youth Football League: www.WYFBL.com, Tri-County Basketball League: www.tcblbasketball.org, Hudson Valley Lacrosse and the Westchester Jewish Basketball League. We also offer SAT Prep Courses with Math and English Consulting as well as tutoring for all elementary school grades.
